An investment in the Rhode Island Service Alliance is an investment in our Commonwealth. Established in 1994, we are a private, nonprofit, 501(c)3 that serves as the state commission on national and community service. Our mission is to improve educational opportunities through the promotion of service. By integrating meaningful service with learning, we are dramatically transforming Rhode Island communities and allowing Rhode Islanders to bring about positive change in their own backyards. More specifically, we invest millions of dollars in public and private funds each year to support community-based organizations that work to improve local communities through the use of service and volunteerism.

There are many ways to invest in our communities through the Rhode Island Service Alliance. You should choose the one that best meets your needs. While cash and credit card donations are the most common, we also accept in-kind goods and services, as well as stocks and securities.
